AFFILIATE AGREEMENT
The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Affiliates provide products and/or services to professional real estate inspectors and the inspection profession. ASHI is a New York Non-profit Corporation. Affiliates shall designate a specific individual to be the representative to ASHI.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- As the representative of my Affiliate organization, I understand that we do not have the same membership rights and benefits as ASHI Home Inspector members. Affiliates cannot vote or hold office and cannot use the other ASHI logos in any manner.
- I understand that the Affiliate membership does not provide or imply an endorsement by ASHI of the firm, organization, or individual that holds the ASHI Affiliate status.
- I understand that as an Affiliate, we are encouraged to identify our Affiliate membership on stationery, business cards, curriculum vitae, website, email, or other promotional materials. Further, an official Affiliate logo will be provided by ASHI for use in a variety of forms and acceptable colors. Affiliate will use the Logo and reference to their Affiliate status only as permitted by ASHI. Upon the end of the Affiliate status, the Affiliate shall no longer use any ASHI intellectual property. ASHI, the ASHI logo, and the American Society of Home Inspectors are trademarks and exclusively owned by and are the intellectual property of ASHI.
- I understand that as an Affiliate, we will benefit from access to ASHI’s educational programs and materials, along with other programs and services as approved and offered by ASHI.
- I understand that Affiliate may NOT place the ASHI Affiliate logo on any certificates produced by a training school or academy. As an Affiliate, we agree to ensure the integrity of the ASHI Affiliate logo and avoid any presentation that may mislead others. The Affiliate is not an agent of ASHI. In addition, Affiliates are expected to honor the ASHI Code of Ethics concerning ASHI member compliance with the Code.
- I understand that ASHI reserves the right at ASHI’s sole discretion to terminate and revoke an Affiliate Membership for any reason at any time. ASHI will provide a prorated refund upon request.
- I understand that ASHI reserves the right at ASHI’s sole discretion not to renew an Affiliate Membership for any reason.
I have read, fully agree to, and understand all statements and terms and conditions in this Application. I hereby certify that all statements are correct. Affiliate hereby releases ASHI, its officers, directors, and employees from any liability and losses connected with or arising from Affiliate Membership status.
Affiliate hereby agrees to indemnify ASHI, its Officers, Directors, Employees, and Agents and hold ASHI and its officers, Directors, Employees, and Agents harmless, for, from, and against any liability, loss, cost, damage, or expenses including, but not limited to, court costs and reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or related to (a) any breach of or default under this Agreement, or (b) any willful or negligent act or omission by Affiliate or its employees, officers, directors, or other agents.
Legal Venue is located exclusively in Cook County, Illinois.
