Purpose:

The John E. Cox Member of the Year Award is an annual award that recognizes an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI) Member who has made exceptional contributions to an ASHI Chapter.

Criteria:

The award recipient shall: be an ACI and rendered outstanding service to an ASHI chapter and the home inspection profession, over a period of years or under circumstances that may not recur.

Nomination of an individual:

Chapter Leadership may submit one nomination using this nomination form. The call for nominations will end on October 21, 2025 at 5 PM Central Time or the next business day thereafter. Nominations received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Evaluation of Nominees:

Chapter Presidents will vote on nominees. The nominee receiving the highest number of votes shall be the award recipient.

Announcement of Award:

The Recipient of the John E. Cox Award shall be announced at InspectionWorld and the whole membership through the ASHI Reporter.
