Technical topics

800-3,000 words. All technical topics are subject to review before acceptance for publication. The editor will edit the article for content, formatting, and style and seek final approval from the author before printing.

All other topics

500-2000 words. We welcome articles on all topics related to home inspection, such as marketing and business perspectives, personal stories, opinions, and more. The ASHI Reporter Editor will edit all submitted articles for content, formatting, and style and seek final approval from the author before printing.

To submit an article, please provide:

• Contact information for each author, as well as biography info (up to 100 words)
• Word document of article
• The author’s headshot photo should be a high-resolution, 300 dpi jpg.
• You must own the photos you submit or have the license to publish them. Please include documentation of the title and any necessary attribution for the image in your Word doc.
• All images should be uploaded individually. Photographs may be embedded in the Word document but only to show preferred placement and caption wording. All artwork must be submitted separately as high-resolution 300 dpi jpg files.
